What to do for Wednesday, January 26^th:

·        Read Sonnet 18;

·        Read Act II of Othello;

·        Think about this: Reputation. Does it matter to you? Do you have any pride in your name and do you feel any duty to protect it? Or think of it in Shakespearean terms: If you were the town drunk, and your name were associated with this kind of sloppiness, would it matter to you?

·        Read the introduction to Othello (it appears right before the play); if you can’t get this read for Wednesday, then read it for next Monday.

·        Find or create images of the main characters: Iago, Roderigo, Othello, Cassio, and Desdemona.
