Week 6:   For Tuesday, Oct. 5th, read chapter 4 (sound) and answer the questions at the end as they relate to the movie Casablanca. We will have a vocabulary quiz on all terms up to this point.
  For Thursday, Oct. 7th, write in your journal how many of the technical elements we've studied so far are at work in The Bicycle Thief.

  Write your transcript and boo-boo page for essay 2.
Week 8      For Tuesday, October 19th, continue to work on your movies; read chapter 6 and write out your notes; and if you haven't done it yet, write out your transcript and boo-boo page.
  Work on your film.
Week 9:  Work on your film. No further reading.
  Have your film ready for show.
Week 10:

 

Nothing! You worked so hard on your film that you deserve a break. Enjoy the Halloween weekend.
  Read chapter 7 and bring your notes.
Week 11:

 

Read chapter 8 and read your notes. Also, begin work on your essay.
   
Week12:

 

See grid for last 6 weeks. Note: Essay not due today, but on Thursday.
  Essay is due. Bring it in your portfolio with past essays and transcripts, with cassette tape, and with a new "Dear Jimbo" letter that lets me know how things are going for you in the class.
Week 13: Read chapter 9 and take notes on the essential parts of the chapter.
   
Week 14: For Tuesday (not Thursday) read ch. 10 and take notes.
