Thursday, March 11:

            -Essay #2: Come to class with ideas of what to do…and maybe some notes.

            -Reading: Read the first act of Importance of Being Ernest (1762-1777); we’ll read the rest in class

 

Tuesday, March 16th:

            -I’ll be spending the entire day at MJC. Still, I’d like you to meet and go over your essays. Can we organize that?

 

 

Thursday, March 18th:

1.      I’ll need these things for the essay:

a.       Your cassette tape (all cued up to either fresh tape or your golden words);

b.      Your transcript for essay #1;

c.       Essay #1;

d.      Essay #2;

e.       A brief “Dear Jimbo” letter that lets me know…well, anything.

 

2.      Joseph Conrad:

a.       Read the introduction to the Heart of Darkness(1957)

b.      Read the beginning of the Heart of Darkness 1958-1967

·  Mark your Yeehaas—and this book has plenty.
