Course Description:  This course is designed to familiarize students with college resources, personnel, study techniques, and personal awareness for college success.

The course is open to all students and is highly recommended for Re-entry students, New students, Probationary students, and students interested in meeting their educational goals.

Attendance: 

You are allowed two absences, after that your grade will decrease one level.

You are allowed to be late twice. More than two will count as an absence.   

 

Professionalism:

Respect for classmates, paying attention in class, and no cell phones!

(If a cell phone rings in class, it will be counted as an absence)

Autobiography: Two Page Typed, Including 2 major challenges that you met and specifically what it took to overcome both challenges.  Due Oct, 23rd at Beginning of Class, No Late Papers Accepted

Four Quizzes from the Course Lecture & Texts

Sept 19th, Oct 23rd, Nov, 22nd, Dec 6th.

 

Assignment Five: 30 Points Possible

Meet with five fellow classmates for a minimum 10 minutes.  Interview one another about what their goals are for college, what do they perceive as their greatest challenges that might keep them from achieving their goals, and how do they see themselves overcoming such obstacles.
