| BIOL 158: | Birds of
Central
California
1.5 units
Lecture: .5 hours Laboratory: 1.5 hours A survey of the birds of Central California through field observations and lectures. Students will learn how to identify birds by sight and sound, then use identification skills as a took for understanding other aspects of avian biology and ecology. Discussion topics will include anatomy, physiology, behavior, and ecology of birds. Offered for Pass/No Pass grading only. Field trips are required. May be repeated three times. |
