IMC ServicesColor Photocopies – Due to the expense of this process, the IMC staff will assist you when color photocopies are required
Creative & Printing Services – Includes complete design, layout and printing. Plan ahead and allow for sufficient time to develop your materials. Fill out the Creative & Printing Services Work Order, ensuring that all required materials are available for IMC use (logos, photos, text, illustrations, etc.). Most Creative & Printing Services projects require consultation with IMC designers, so make arrangements with Ina Heinrichs at ext. 5101 for a meeting with one of them. Bring the completed form and all support materials to the meeting. Your finished project will be placed in your campus mailbox, or you will be notified regarding pickup if the item is too large to fit in your box.
KWIKPrint – Recommended for fast, low-cost printing of 50 copies or more – especially exams and student handout materials. Limited to printing with black ink only. Design services are not needed. All submittals are camera-ready and only printing is required. Normal turn-around is 1-2 working days…sooner in emergencies. Fill out a KWIKPrint Work Order form and leave with original document at the IMC work desk for processing. Your finished project will be placed in your campus mailbox, or you will be notified regarding pickup if the item is too large to fit in your box.
Self-Service BW Photo Copiers – Ideal for copying up to 50 black and white sheets. Two copy machines are available for College use. One is in the Mailroom and the other is by the side door in the Instruction Office area. Instructions for use are clearly posted above the machines. These machines are coded and cannot be used unless you enter an assigned code. See the Evening Secretary in the Instruction Office for a code number. Each instructor has been assigned 1000 photocopies per month so limit your copies to small amounts (one to two masters with not more than 25 copies). Any quantities over that amount should be reproduced through KWIKPrint. If you have reached the limit, the copy machine will not allow any further copies and you must see the Evening Secretary for an alternative code or clearance.
Additional Information:Copyright Authorization – If the material for duplication by the IMC is copyrighted, it is the responsibility of the originator to obtain the appropriate authorization and permission for reproduction.
IMC Charges – All IMC Work Orders are logged into a database and records are kept to account for materials for each instructor and each administrative support area. Each instructor has been allowed 1000 photocopies per month and charge backs to the instructor’s department will occur when in excess of that amount.
Personal Copies – Personal work may be copied on College copy machines at a cost of 5 cents per copy. See Ina Heinrichs in the Mailroom or the Evening Secretary in the Instruction Office to arrange for payment.
Syllabi – Instructor-developed materials can be duplicated in the IMC and sold in the Manzanita Bookstore. Contact Doryene Rapini, the IMC Coordinator, at ext. 5136 for more information.
