| HIST 14: | World
Civilizations: 1650 to Present
3 units Lecture: 3 hours Survey of world history from the middle of the seventeenth century to the present time. The theme of revolution will be illustrated by the Industrial Revolution, the democratic revolutions of the eighteenth century, and the Communist revolutions of the twentieth century. Contemporary problems in Asia, Africa, Central and South America will be placed in historical context. The contributions of women in history will be a special topic of study.
