HIST 11: History of California                                            3 units Lecture: 3 hours
Survey of California history from pre-Columbian period to the present.  Emphasis will include the Indians, Spaniards, Mexicans, and Anglo-Americans.  Considerable attention will be devoted to California's influential role in national and world events.  (MJC HIST 129)
