Programming Concepts & Methodology II
4 units Prerequisite: CMPSC 22 with a grade of C, CR, P, or better, or equivalent Recommended for Success: MATH 104 Lecture: 3 hours Laboratory: 3 hours Continuation of CMPSC 22 for computer science majors concentrating on problem-solving techniques using an object oriented design approach. Programming language will be the currently preferred object-oriented language used by equivalent UC/CSU courses. Topics include asymptotic notation, dynamic data structures (linked lists, stacks, queues, binary trees), directed graphs, generics, and searching/sorting algorithms.
