ECON 10: Principles of Economics - Macro                                    4 units  
Lecture:  4 hours

This course focuses on the ongoing concerns of a market economy, particularly the United States and its dealings with growth, unemployment, inflation, and gross domestic product.  Students will explore macroeconomic models, national income and accounting, aggregate demand, aggregate supply, fiscal, and monetary policy.  International implications are introduced throughout the course to explain the impact of globalization on our economy.  Further understanding of these concepts and topics will be aided by the use of current events both foreign and domestic, and enhanced instruction by the use of electronic communication and interactive material.  (MJC ECON 101)
