Criteria for Teacher of the Year Award
  •  Respect for, and rapport with, students, staff, and faculty colleagues
  •   Investment of self in the role and responsibilities of teaching faculty
  •  Mastery of both subject matter and the teaching/learning process
  • Demonstrated ability to relate the subject matter to other disciplines and to students' personal lives.
  •  Demonstrated ability to motivate and to inspire
  • A continuing commitment to personal and professional growth

Criteria for Faculty Member of the Year Award
  •  Respect for, and rapport with, faculty colleagues, staff and students
  • A continuing commitment to personal and professional growth for oneself and for others on campus
  • Concern for, and commitment to, institutional integrity
  • Awareness of, and involvement in college governance
  • Active involvement in college governance
  •  Leadership contributing to the overall quality of education at the college and/or the quality of life on campus
