1)  Interpret policy related to transfer  equivalency, residency requirements, examination for credit, grade changes, course waivers and course substitutions

2)  Make decisions related to petitions regarding the above policy

 

1 meeting per month + 1 hour prep time

CURRICULUM

1)  Review curriculum proposals

  2)  Assist in decision making on maters related to curriculum

3)  Take pro active positions re: college  curriculum needs

2 meetings each month

 2-4 hours prep time per month

FACULTY SCHOLARSHIP

1)  Determine selection criteria and conduct financial planning related to the scholarship

2)  Solicitation of donors to scholarship

3)  Interview candidates and select winners

2 meetings per year + prep time

 

1-year term

 

 

SABBATICAL LEAVE

1)   Appointees [most recently returned from sabbatical leave themselves] disseminate information to faculty and encourage them to take advantage of appointments

2)   Review and evaluate applications

3)   Interview and select most deserving applicants

1)   Address facility concerns and issues at Columbia
